The Otago Centre for Electron Microscopy and the Otago Centre for Confocal Microscopy are located in the basement of the Lindo Ferguson building (opposite the Dunedin Public Hospital) on Great King Street

Go through the main entrance of the Lindo Ferguson building into the foyer and then down the stairs with the sign 'Electron Microscopy, Confocal Microscopy, EM Tech Unit'.
At the bottom of the stairs turn left into the hallway to enter the Microscopy Otago area as shown by the purple arrow on the left side of the floor plan (below).
The car park entrance can be found by walking down the alley between the Lindo Ferguson building and the Medical Library and turning left, however this entrance requires swipecard access.
